BI & Analytics Specialist – Production & Operations
Do you enjoy working close to operations and turning production and operations data into insights that make a real difference on the shop floor?
At BORG Automotive, we are looking for a BI & Analytics Specialist focused on production and operations to join our Group BI & Analytics team. Based in Zduńska Wola, Poland, you will work at our largest factory, close to most key production and operations stakeholders. As the team’s local presence, you will collaborate with colleagues at our production sites in Poland, Tunisia, and Spain, and with the wider BI & Analytics team.
The Role
The role combines two specializations: Business Partnering & Consulting, where you help production and operations translate business needs into valuable analytical outcomes, and Analytics & Reporting, where you define, model, and deliver trusted solutions that support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with production and operations management, planners, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand processes, identify issues, and clarify needs.
Translate standard and moderately complex needs into practical requirements and BI solutions, and challenge requirements when needed.
Develop, test, document, and implement data models, KPIs, reports, and dashboards for the production and operations area.
Ensure the quality, reliability, and stable operation of solutions within the production and operations area.
Train and support key users and end users, and drive adoption of BI solutions across production and operations.
Take part in the team's support responsibility through weekly rotating shifts.
Identify opportunities where data and analytics can improve transparency, processes, and operational performance.
Contribute to shared standards, governance, and continuous improvement across BI & Analytics.
Who You Are
Your experience in production and operations is the foundation for this role. You take time to understand processes and stakeholder needs before proposing solutions. You work independently, take ownership of your deliverables, and know when to involve others.
You combine this experience with solid analytical skills and a strong motivation to develop your BI and analytics expertise, enabling you to contribute from day one.
You bring the following qualifications and strengths:
Solid experience in production, manufacturing, or operations – for example as a production or process engineer, planner, operations analyst, or controller – with a strong understanding of processes and KPIs such as efficiency, capacity, quality, and planning.
A relevant degree in Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or similar.
Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience working with data to improve performance – e.g. defining KPIs and building reports, dashboards, or analyses in BI tools, or in Excel. Experience with data modelling and SQL is a clear advantage.
A genuine interest in BI and analytics and a strong ability to learn – you are motivated to deepen your skills within data modelling, reporting, and analytics, and you pick up new tools and methods quickly.
Experience with ERP/MES data, cube development, or self-service analytics is an advantage.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and explain data clearly.
A structured, proactive, and persistent approach to turning needs into practical solutions.
Thrive as a remote member of a team based in Denmark – you communicate proactively, share progress and knowledge openly, ask for help early, and take an active part in online meetings and team collaboration.
Fluent in English.
What We Offer
A role close to the business, with direct impact on how our production and operations across Poland, Tunisia, and Spain use data to improve performance.
The opportunity to build deep expertise in production and operations and shape your future career path within BI & Analytics.
Exposure to modern BI and analytics technologies and business-critical initiatives.

About BORG Automotive
BORG Automotive is a leading European supplier of automotive spare parts, offering both remanufactured and new products across a broad and competitive product portfolio.
We serve the automotive aftermarket through two dedicated sales channels: Independent Aftermarket (IAM) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). This enables us to bring our expertise, products, and capabilities to customers across different parts of the automotive industry.
Remanufacturing has been at the heart of BORG Automotive for nearly 50 years and remains an important part of who we are. Across our European production facilities, we give automotive parts a new life through an industrial remanufacturing process, helping to reduce resource consumption and support a more circular automotive industry.
At the same time, our new product range strengthens and expands our overall offering, giving customers access to an even broader portfolio. In several product categories, we offer both new and remanufactured alternatives, providing greater choice and flexibility to meet different customer and market needs.
Today, BORG Automotive Group has more than 2,000 employees across our European production facilities, warehouses, and offices, with our headquarters in Silkeborg, Denmark.
Our journey over more than five decades has been marked by significant growth, and our ambitions remain high. As an employee at BORG Automotive, you become part of an international company in continuous development – a company where people are trusted to take responsibility, contribute ideas, and make an impact.
Our culture is built around five core values: Competence, Responsibility, Transparency, Interdependency, and Continuous Improvement. These values guide how we work together and reflect what our slogan stands for:
The most important part is you.
